A. Hi
Thanks for your enquiry. You probably have the option for either fixed teeth or implant supported dentures, held securely in place with implants.

Fixed teeth are more expensive as more implants are needed and the laboratory work is usually more expensive. As a general guide an implant supported denture with 4-6 implants will cost from £7000. Fixed teeth need 6-8 implants and cost from £10,000.

I hope this helps, our practice is in Chelmsford, Essex please feel free to contact me if you require further assistance on 01245 268 494

I AM INTERESTED TO FIND OUT MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE IMPLANT SUPPORTED DENTURES. I HAVE A FULL UPPER DENTURE WHICH IFIND UNCOMFORTABLE AND IT IS AFFECTING MY EATING AND THE ABOVE TREATMENT SOUNDS A MORE AFFORDABLE SOLUTIONTHAN INDIVIDUAL IMPLANTED TEETH.

I have 2 implants to secure bottom dentures put in by Glasgow dental hospital. I find it is getting too far to travel can I get new dentures locally on NHS. I stay in Girvan South Ayrshire and am 62 Yrs old. I have phoned a couple of NHS dentists in Ayr but they say. As this is cosmetic dentistry it would have to be private. This was a necessary procedure for me as I have worn dentures from 19yrsold and my gums had shrunk so much they would not support dentures. Therefore surely it shou continue to be under NHS

I have a partial bottom denture but one of my own teeth that holds the partial fell out. How much does this cost? How much do I have to wait? Is this even possible to fix? I’m new to the dentures I’m 32 and very disappointed that I can’t smile due to embarrassment. My concern is that it will be to expensive to fix. I’m also concerned that it is my lower partial will I have trouble chewing with less support?

My daughter had a bone graft on the upper gum where her two front teeth should be,taken from her jaw 2 months ago,she had an accident when she was 8 and lost her 2 front teeth, shes now 18,the plate shes worn doesnt fit properly now due to the different shape of her gums so she really needs anotha to fit better, our concern is when they make the pink mould stuff and leave it to set on her gums for the impression, then pull it off, will this dislodge the graft?? The hospital told us to go ahead and get our own dentist to make her one but we really dont want to undo any good work with the graft that has been done,as obviously it takes months to nit together before she can have implants and its only been 2 months, what would you suggest?? Many thanks.
