do they have to be removed and washed at intervals? If yes then what are the disadvantages? I have a discoloured teeth as a result of childhood persistent illness. I got this condition due the many drugs i had to be given. Also I got fillings that are permanent.will this have any effect on the veneers?

Hello, thank you so much for your query. I shall do the best that I can in order to provide you with a satisfactory answer. Firstly let me say I am sorry to hear about your tooth discolouration, I understand that it can be very stressful but rest assured there way around it. So, regarding your teeth, the amount of tooth removed depends on the position of your current teeth, their colour and structure. Porcelain veneers need to be replaced as with any dentistry, its lifespan varies depending upon the teeth and how well they are looked after.
