Could Veneers be used to lengthen my teeth?

Hi. My upper set of teeth are very small and do not extend beyond my top lip. This causes some speech issues, particularly with the ‘s’ sound. I basically need them lengthening by around five millimetres. Would lumineers achieve this?
A.
Yes. It would be wise to do a temporary build up on your teeth with white filling material first to see if you were happy with that amount of lengthening. Then we could tell the technician exactly how long to make the veneers. This would avoid getting the shape of the permanent veneers wrong
