Metal braces aren’t suitable for my job but I can’t afford Invisalign or Clearstep, any advice?

Q.

Hi, My teeth aren’t that bad, only 2 of them are being pushed back which makes them look wonkey… But its always been a problem, i hate my teeth… But im going into jobs that presentation is everything and I really can’t have braces, Is there anyway I could get them straightened on the NHS without getting full on braces? I haven’t got the money to pay for invisalign or Clearstep

My teeth have moved after having attached braces and I also grind my teeth, would Invisalign be a good option?

Thursday, April 14th, 2011
Q.

Hello,

I have slightly squint front teeth which I have had attached braces for during my teens. However over time they seem to be slightly squint again.

I’d like to get Invisalign-do prices begin at around the 3000 mark or can it be cheaper in milder cases?

Also I grind my teeth during my sleep and wear a gum shield to protect my teeth during the night. Would I still be able to have Invisalign? Would it stand up to my grinding?
I need a new gum shield every 8 months or so.

Thanks,

What straightening procedures could you recommend for a slight problem?

Thursday, April 7th, 2011
Q.

Hello, i have a good set of teeth, but my left lateral incisor is slightly turned outwards but less than 1mm. Although its very small my orthodontist would not fit me a brace to correct it. I was wondering if i could get it straightened with another procedure? Could i send an image to explain further? Many thanks.

I regret not having braces when I was 16 and now that I am an adult I’m not sure what is my best option. Orthodonics or veneers?

Wednesday, March 30th, 2011
Q.

When i was 16 i was offered a brace which i, stupidy, declined and now i am regretting it as when i recently went to the dentist to ask about having a bace put on she informed me that my teeth had set in place and were very strong so the likely-hood of my teeth staying in place when the brace was taken off was very small. I am very very concious of my teeth being crooked (even though i have been assured many times that they are “not that bad”) and rarely smile with my teeth on show. I have been looking into veneers as these seem like the best option for me. from what i have told you would you say that veneers would be the route i should take? and how much would i be looking at paying for them? Thank you.
