Is there any less noticable braces or any other alternative for braces

Wednesday, April 15th, 2009
Q.
Hi My daughter (17) has been given two options on nhs. one is the correct two years with full braces, which she wont do because of her age and the second to which she is keen but the dentist isnt which is to take out the third tooth on the right (pointed tooth) which is lying behind her main teeth and use a brace for one year to close the gap, which will cause some miss alignment. Or do nothing. I was wondering about private less noticable braces, what’s your opinion?

I want to have a perfect smile so which one will be the good option veneers or invisiline

Monday, April 13th, 2009
Q.
I am fed up with my smile. I have too many gaps. My front teeth are gapped the 2 teeth next to the front teeth are missing instead they are fangs and theres a gap between them and the front 2 teeth and theres a gap after the fangs. A total of 5 gaps. One of the gaps on the far right looks like a whole tooth is missing. I don’t know what to do since I’m missing those 2 teeth that should be next to my 2 front teeth and I would like something to be done fast! The cost isn’t a problem. Braces take to long. Veneers seem nice but since I’m missing teeth will it be ok? And some veneers look too fat or the top looks a little spaced out from the gums. And aren’t my teeth going to have to be shaved to be thinner to apply the veneers? Invisiline takes too long and maybe a problem since my gaps are kinda big. What do you honestly think is the best thing for me to do? I do want this done quickly but I do understand the best thing may take longer. But I do want a PERFECT smile! Please help!

Would braces or invisilign really be needed for just one little tooth?

Sunday, April 12th, 2009
Q.
Hello Dr, On my top front teeth I have one tooth that is crooked and twists away from the other. What do you think would be the best course of action to fix this? Would braces or invisilign really be needed for just one little tooth? I thought of cosmetic contouring but I want my tooth to be permanently fixed and not have to worry about. I do have a slight overcrowding on my bottom row of teeth..but it’s the top I’m most concerned about. What do you suggest?

I am torn between inman aligner and invisalign

Saturday, April 4th, 2009
Q.
I am currently looking into which treatment would be best for me. My top two front teeth are slightly protruded and have a gap. The rest of my teeth are not horrendous but could do with straightening out here and there. I am torn between the invisalign treatment and the inman aligner. I found this site useful in the pro’s and con’s to both of these solutions but wondered if you can tell me if the treatment will be permanent? For example, are my teeth likely to move back after time, and if so to what extent? Also the gap between my front teeth has allowed for some gum to grow beneath the two teeth. Should I get this removed? I am also on a budget, so please tell me how much this would cost too. Thank you.

Friday, April 3rd, 2009
Q.
Hi, I want to get my teeth straightened and have had many consultations. I have an overbite and my teeth are pointed at the front. I can’t decide whether I should have invisalign or the damon system, and would really appreciate your advice

Any chance the invisalign would work for me or should I just use the lingual braces

Friday, April 3rd, 2009
Q.
I have consulted a dentist and I want to know if invisalign would work for me. The dentist said I have both for aesthetic and functional problems. A clinical examination revealed a type of dental malocclusion cl with the DDM. On the dental plane, the teeth has a median diastema of up to 7 mm and a strong proalveolie max. A man of diastemes distal incisors and proalveolie; on strong vertical gap. On a cephalo plane there is a maxillary proalveolie which is detected on a convex profile. I am trying to translate from french. I am 30years and have sucked my two middle fingers for as long as I can remember. Any chance the invisalign would work for me or should I just use the lingual braces.
