hi got a crown snapped of part tooth still visable , can you replace put implant, how much.? part tooth still there just visible and wire where was used for scaffolding for filling before had crown the filling with scaffolding did not last a week ,i can feel the wire with my tongue and it is visible it is in the top smile front i will need others done as my teeth are like old china the one next to it is also a crown i would not have scaffold fillings or crowns again and would not recomend the last crown that broke was only done four weeks ago i have the crown with the broken tooth in i did go back to the dentist as it was loose he said would have to wait till was more loose and he would reset it not very happy looking for solution i could not cope or consider detures had some made could not use please help i await your most urgent reply best wishes

what will be the next proceedure as i nee to return to work following the bank holiday and i dont wish to be walking around with a massive gap in my tooth.
I still have the crown with me which was fitted over 15 years ago. I have the other 3 crowns in place. I dont think they are weakened. The dentist I spoke with at the emergency services said this could have been a result of wear and tear.
What should I do & how much will this cost?
I have recently had crowns put in but I feel that some are bit too long, can I have them shaved down a little?

I recently had four zirconia crowns placed on my upper anterior teeth, and while I love them I think the lateral ones are a little bit too long (nearly the same length as the middle ones).
I was wondering if it would be possible to have them shaved down up to about half a millimetre, or would this undermine their strength and longevity?
And if so, can you tell me approximately how much I should expect to pay for this?

Wednesday, April 13th, 2011i had my new crowns put in a few days ago due to lateral pegs. i am very unhappy about how it looks, the new crowns are like the same size of my front teeth, so it look like i have for front teeth i even have bitting problems, and eating (like chewing) it annoying. and i very much hate it. what can i about this, in fact what can my dentist do about this. can i sue her if she does nothing because it pains when i eat.

My front teeth are slightly crowded, protruding by about 3.5mm. I am wondering about getting veneers to slightly reduce this, as i am an actor and aesthetics are very important to me. I have read of new dentin bonding technologies that allow veneers to correct such a problem, and was just wondering if you thought this was a wise idea. Any advise would be greatly appreciated- thanks alot
