Hi Kailesh. My teeth have been sensitive to cold for over a year now so I had it filled but the filling keeps coming out so now it gets more sensitive to cold in my teeth. I don’t like needles, so could you tell me if there is any other way to have it taken out? I’m one those people who don’t do pain or needles, so if there is any other way of taking it out then I would love to hear about it. I don’t like needles because the last time I had a needle in my gums didn’t go down till 2 weeks later. I couldn’t eat or drink or brush my teeth in the morning or night because I was in so much pain and that was about 7 years ago now. People have been telling me it only takes 2 minutes – not even that – but I hope to have it out soon and I’m hoping that it doesn’t happen the way it did 7 years ago. I hope you can help me.

It’s come to a point when I require some much needed treatment. The last dentist I went to was a lady and said she wouldn’t refer me because I’ve already sat in the dentist’s chair. It’s only my fear of needles that stops me requiring the correct type of treatment that cause my stress and I’d like to know if I can pay to be put me to sleep during any potential procedure and how much this would cost and if this kind of thing is available on the NHS? I Need My Lower Wisdom Tooth Removed.

I would like to have my lower wisdom teeth removed as soon as possible, as they are causing me a lot of discomfort as they grow through. They have been flaring up off and on for over a year, give me jaw stiffness, headaches, pain, and the inability to close my mouth properly.
My two top wisdom teeth are growing through with minimal problems (minus the normal pain experienced when initially growing through), however the bottom two do not have any space to come through and are as such giving me a lot of grief.
I have the option to go through the NHS but as I have recently changed dentists, I need to go back 3 times before I can be referred.
How much would it cost to have them removed privately under general an and how long is the usual wait for this type of procedure? (I live in Essex and work daily in London.)

I Am Unhappy With My Whitening Treatment.
Monday, August 19th, 2013I had my teeth whitening done by my dentist with custom made trays & home kit, I was told to use it for 4 nights overnight, I done this using 3 of the 4 syringes that were given to me and I am so unhappy, the bottom of my top teeth have whitened much more than the top part of my teeth (near the gum) my dentist said this is normal and that whitening will not change the whole colour of my teeth, at £400 I feel gutted I have not got the result I thought I would get and don’t know what to do? I’m looking for some advice as to whether or not it is possible to have lumineers on filled teeth? Basically, there wasn’t a massive hole so the filling isn’t too large and I’ve been speaking to a friend who has had extensive dental work done in the past, however they seem unsure so wanted an expert opinion. Also, after doing a little independent reading around the topic it seems that staining could be an issue? I’m a little confused so would appreciate it if you could clarify. Thank you.

I’ve read about Lumineers and I am wondering if the product is suitable to go over a front top tooth that has two large fillings (one I think is attached with a pin!). About two thirds of the tooth is original and strong.

Tuesday, March 8th, 2011 I am a qualified dental nurse in London and been in the field for 13 years, I am not currently registered as I am more on the management side these days. Getting to the point can I administer botox and dermal fillers with the appropriate training or will I have to become registered firstly before doing so?
