Hello Dr.

Sir,
I had a hit from a cricket ball in 1997 (age 22 that time) which broke my front two tooths and thereafter my dentist had put a bridge on adjacent tooths using porcelain as material. My question is
a) what is the life of a bridge?
b) Can it be removed and replaced after their life?
c) How do I know they are nearing the end i.e. what are the indicators for it? Presently I have no complaints with them but have anxiety lest they give away all of a sudden leading to possible embarrasement(the bridge has completed 13 years now)
Grateful for your revert.
my friend has full dentures but could he have inplants and could he get them done on thr nhs
HOW LONG/LIFE SPAN WILL TEETH IMPLANTS LAST, IF LOOK AFTER WELL…
Hi, I had a metal brace years ago to straighten two potroding incisors and close a small gap between my to front teeth. When i got my brace off i was given a plastic clear retainer to wear. However I dont think i kept it on long enough and now years later the gap has slightly appeared and an incisor is starting to potrude again. It doesnt look that bad, but im worried if i leave it, it ill get worse and i want the gap closed. Are there any minor treatments you would advise? and a rough estimate of cost?
im 47 never smoked my mother and grandmother lost all their teeth due to loosing bone in their gums,4years ago i noticed small gap and front tooth loose, dentist refered me to birmingham but said there would be a 2 year wait,i have been attending birmingham 2 years and was told it should have been 6 weeks wait.not only have i lost bone and have a gap my front tooth is now jutting out and affects my speech,i just want the front teeth rectified im devasted and avoid going out, i have heard of bone graft what are my options i cannot go another year visiting birmingham my life is on hold.thank you
My boyfriend has to have root canal treatment and his dentist has offered him a metal coloured crown. I think a natural tooth colour would look better because he already has a large metal crown on the other side but his dentist advises him that the metal lasts longer. Is that correct?
hi dr solanki i am 32 years old and i am really unhappy when i was pregnant with my first child the four teeth at the front of my mouth started to become discoloured.when i had my daughter they were never the same.when i got pregnant with my second child they began to get worse to the extent that they started to decay badly and i have never had the confidence to go to the dentist as i feel ashamed as i dont want them to think i am a unclean person and that i have never looked after my teeth and also i dont want to have to hear i need dentures.i am so very unhappy i have not got a smile and i tend to mumble when i talk so i dont have to show my teeth if i had the money to have implants i would have them done tomorrow please help and could you tell me if i can get them done on the nhs.it is really affecting my life as it makes me very depressed.
