Hi, I had problems when I was a kid with the dentist my parents picked and since then I’ve never really had much trust in dentists. I want this to change. Since I’ve had kids my teeth keep getting worse and I don’t know what to do please help. I have just been to a new dentist today as I’d lost a filling at the weekend, when he had a look he wasn’t happy with my teeth at all and said who was you’re last dentist and do you eat a lot of sugar food and drink loads of tea when I told him, he looked at me and didn’t believe me.
I’m a veggie, don’t eat sweets and won’t give them the kids, I only drink water as don’t like tea or coffee since my first child, I don’t smoke or drink.
I’m pregnant at the moment and getting very scared over my teeth as he told me the tooth I need treatment on needs a new filling as it was rotten in places. I don’t want all my teeth to rotten away.
Please help, I don’t know what can I do please.

Tuesday, August 27th, 2013Hello, I have a really huge fear of the dentist as of bad experiences with them when I was younger and I have extremely bad anxiety and panic attacks. I have had a big filing fall out which has caused a big section of my tooth to come out and I can’t eat or sleep properly due to the pain, I have my first appointment with a dentist on Tuesday but I’m really terrified. Is it possible for you to tell me if you know whether I can be put asleep for treatment before treatment or something along those lines? Where would treatment like this be available to me? Friday, August 23rd, 2013Hi, I had my tooth knocked out playing a rugby match two years ago. I managed to save the tooth and they put it back in with a brace for six weeks. I haven’t suffered with any problems up until now however, as it has now come loose and it is making it hard for me to chew and eat my food. What are the possible treatment solutions open to me? Whenever I Breathe The Left Side Of My Mouth Hurts. Should I See My Dentist?
Thursday, August 22nd, 2013I’ve noticed recently doctor that whenever I breathe in, two of my teeth on the left hand side of my mouth hurt. The best way to describe it is that I get a fuzzy feeling. It also hurts to press against and it sometimes hurts to break food up on that side or my mouth when I go to eat. I haven’t eaten or drank anything out of the ordinary. With saying this, the teeth have more recently got more sensitive now with just opening my mouth. I haven’t got pain all the time only when eating but that’s not a lot. Can you tell me what his problem is? Should I go and see my dentist? I not sure it’s that big deal of a problem. Can you help?

After Suffering A Traumatic Attack I Want Dental Implants, How Many Do I Need?
Monday, August 19th, 2013 I had a consultation today I was told I would need to have a bone augmentation procedure as I lost my front tooth through trauma when I was only sixteen years old. I was attacked and beaten really badly, the subsequent injuries I sustained were a hairline fracture of my tooth above the gum line, a broken nose, head trauma, bruising and also anxiety nightmares. I am very nervous and afraid to leave

My Retainer Cracked And I Want To Know If The Advice I Was Given Is Correct, Can You Help?
Tuesday, August 13th, 2013 Hello.
I had a 6 month Smile brace, after 4 months, they were removed and i was given a clear retainer.
After 3 months, this retainer cracked. This concerned me quite a bit. After waiting a few days for an appointment, my orthodontist made me a new retainer. However this did not fit and I experienced some movement.
She then made me a new retainer, again, movement occurred. My orthodontist has now taken to adding “clear bonding” to my tooth, to fill the space in my retainer to move my tooth back.
Even now, they are still not as straight as they were when treatment finished. I only have 6 months aftercare and that runs out this month. She is saying i will only qualify to have my braces back on if my teeth have moved more than 2mm. She also stated if my smile is considered to be straight, then they wont consider further treatment.
She told me that movement during retention can happen. My teeth move if i take my retainer out for an hour whilst eating. Apparently this is normal.
Can you offer your insight into this? It would be greatly appreciated
I Suffer From Bad Breath, Despite Regularly Brushing My Teeth. What Treatments Are Available To Combat This Problem?

I have been suffering from bad breath for many years and now realise that I need to seek proffessional help in order to obtain a long term solution. To give you a brief idea of my problem, I brush my teeth at least twice a day and in the way in which my dentist advises. I also regularly clean my tongue and use mouthwash, but within one hour of my routine, to maintain oral hygeine, I can guarantee that the bad breath will be back. Although my gums are alot better than they used to be, I still believe that it is the gum disease, that my dentist tells me I have, that is the main cause of the problem. Can you advise me of any treatments available that I can undergo to remove this problem from my life.
