My daughter teeth is blue in colour as the metal fixing cement stuff behind the teeth advice

Q.
My daughter recently had a bridge fitted and im unsure if the work is acceptable, she has had two replacement teeth fitted on a bridges either side of the two front teeth. The colour now of the two front teeth is a blue colour-as the metal-fixing cement stuff from behind the teeth shows through. Is it normal to have the teeth fixed in with a metal looking not white cement.

Hi. i’m 25 and have recently been referred to a hospital consultant for suspected TMJ disorder, as i have been experiencing severe jaw pain, neck pain and ear ahce, my dentist recommends surgery because of my complex jaw. i also have a bad underbite of about 1cm and severe crowding of my lower teeth. when i was a teenager i had braces on my upper teeth, but never my lower teeth – they wanted to do jaw surgery but my parents refused. when i was 21 i found out i had shortening of the roots on my top teeth. could you tell me if it is possible to have jaw surgery with braces only on my bottom teeth as i’m sure they will not want to apply a brace to my top teeth? or will the short roots prevent them from doing the surgery at all? Thank you for any help you can give me.

Q.
I have severe dental problem, and was recently seen in hospital and had six teeth surgically removed. i’ve been told a further two or three may also have to be removed, with many others requiring permenant filings ( at the moment i have temporary ones in place) and root canal treatment. I have unsightly gaps where the teeth used to be, discolouration and decay, my teeth chip, crack and disintergrate very easily. my dentist cannot conclude how it is happening, and the high flouride content toothpaste i have been prescribed does not seem to be helping at all. Although i need all the teeth stabalised and repaired, i am interested in cosmetic dentistry. i am a 24 yr old female and would be devestated to loose my teeth, however my dentist expressed concerns that cosmetic surgery could not be carried out on such unstable teeth. Is there any further information or advise you could offer me?

Dr. Bohara, I have a permanent bridge put on by a dentist in 2005. In 2009, it is broken. I paid $3000. She says that the bridge broke due to my grinding. The bridge has also damaged the bottom tooth. I consulted another dentist and he says that the bridge should be replaced at no cost to me. I went to the original dentist and she said that because I grind my teeth I broke the bridge and also have worn out my bottom tooth. She said that she would replace the bridge for 1/2 the price of $3,000. What are dental patients’ rights???? I did not like her office and I did not like her. I’ve also moved and I’m now 3hrs away. Thanks for your guidance.

My friend has type 2 diabetes and has had some teeth out recently. He tells me that he does not think that he will be able to have dentures/bridges or screw in teeth fitted as his gums and bones are not good. Is there any hope and/or procedure for him that will allow him a full mouth of teeth? He only has one top tooth at the front with some at the back and most of his bottom teeth at the moment. His remaining teeth are not in good condition and are very stained/bad.

I had a root canal about 3years ago, and the centre of my tooth was completly filled with the grey finish filling cement. unfortunately the entire filling pellet has fallen out and one side of tooth that was left has fallen away. Im wanting to know it is at all possible to have an implant after a short period of time when the gum has completely healed? I was thinking about a gold tooth, not for the look but just purely for the fact that will not react and be very strong no doubt lasting me a very long time. F.Y.I. – The tooth is a molar, bottom set on the right second in from the back (no wisdom teeth). Thankyou
