I work full time as a nurse but cannot afford veneers, what would you advise me to do?

Wednesday, October 17th, 2012
Q.

Hello there, I have been struggling with my teeth now for a number of years. I am depressed with my appearance, can’t physically eat with my two front teeth, and I am extremely conscious. I used to feel quite attractive, not any more. I work full time as a nurse, but simply cannot afford the veneers i’v always dreamed of. I’m hoping to get them some day, and I will never give up. It’s making me very unhappy. I love to smile, sing, and talk. All of these things are becoming a daily struggle. Would just appreciate some or any advice as to what I can do. I am at my wits end. Thank you for reading,

I am looking for a cosmetic dentists input for a new movie I’m making, can you assist me?

Wednesday, October 17th, 2012
Q.

Dear Dr Hughes,

I would love it if you could help me, I am making a moving picture and would like your input.

I have seen some of your pictures and am excited to move forward.

I am looking for a professional with experience to assist me with this.

The hand of an experienced dentist with ability and creativity is what is needed to get my creative juices flowing for this long-term project that has been in the pipe line for a few years.

I really can’t wait long and I am very receptive to your ideas. Do you have a portfolio I could have a look at? Can you send me a message to arrange a meeting with me? Thank you in advance.

Is it possible to have just 6 teeth prepared for veneers? Or is it standard practice to have more?

Wednesday, October 17th, 2012
Q.

Hi i am thinking of possibly getting veneers. It seems that porcelain are better, or Lumineers from what I have read. I was thinking of perhaps getting my top six teeth done and then whitening the rest of my teeth. My teeth are not in terrible shape but stained partly from smoking a little and i have been grinding a little also. Is this possible to do or is it more usual to do more including the bottom row. Any advice would be most welcome.
Kindest regards.

My teeth are small, what’s the best cosmetic dental treatment available to make them appear larger?

Tuesday, October 16th, 2012
Q.

Dear Dr Mark Hughes

I really would like to have a bigger smile, my teeth are kind of small.
Maybe I’ll make a facial cosmetic surgery when I’ll have my 20 years;

BUT…..

-What should I first do:
Facial cosmetic surgery first or make my teeth first ?

-What is the best :
Veneers or da Vinci Veneers or MAC Veneers or Lumineers ? And can one of these make my smile or teeth bigger ?

Actually I just want to make my smile like Michael Jackson’s big smile; but compared to teeth can I make my teeth as big as Michael Jackson’s big teeth just at the top ?

What is the most effective brace for fixing my rotated canines?

Tuesday, October 16th, 2012
Q.

What’s the most effective braces for rotated canines?

My current dentist only does six month smiles, but I want to know if something like Invisalign might work for me.

I’d like to find something more discreet…

I also have slight gaps – nothing major, my main concerns are my canines. I believe those are the most difficult teeth to shift?

P.s. I’m a 30 year old, female if that makes any difference…

Can bonding close the large gaps in my front teeth?

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2012
Q.

hi, i am under 18 years old ( nearly 16) and i have quite bad gaps on my top teeth, i have had them for as long as i can remember and this problem stops me from comfortably smiling. As I am still in school I am paranoid about my teeth and I get bullied because of them. My dentist has told me that braces would not get rid of the gaps which really upset me. So I did some research and saw that bonding could help. Would i be able to get bonding on the nhs- as i feel that the problem is causing me to be insecure around others, and how would i suggest this to my dentist(as he hasn’t provided me with any other options)? thank you i would be extremely grateful if you could have me solve this issue

Can veneers correct broken, front teeth?

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2012
Q.

Hi, Doctor Moore. Here is my problem, so I have fallen recently which resulted in me smashing my two top front teeth and also a bottom one. I have half of my top two left and about a quarter of my bottom tooth left. I am very worried that these teeth will have to be removed, as they’re obviously permanent teeth this thought really scares me! Can these teeth be saved or is it just easier for these to be replaced with new, prosthetic teeth? I was wondering what my options are??? Any help would really be appreciated. I would like to have veneers, this has been a long time wish of mine, would they be a suitable form of treatment? So I see this as an ideal time to have some good dental work done. Thanks for your time.

I am concerned that if my chipped tooth is fixed then my orthodontic retainer won’t fit any longer, would this be the case?

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2012
Q.

Hi Mark. About 6 months ago I chipped a small part of the inside biting edge of one of my front tooth and it still hurts which is a concern. The chip isn’t major or visible from the front, only if you look under it at the inside of the tooth but I would like to get this fixed. I also have had orthodontic treatment and it has been going very well. So I am very concerned that if the chip is fixed then my orthodontic essix retainer won’t fit any longer which would mean I would need a new one, which again means more money! As I am in easy access to you, is this something that you could look at for me? It is the fact that it still hurts that bothers me so much. Is there anything you can recommend to help minimise the pain? Many thanks.
