Can you explain the cost difference between types of veneers?

Q. Hi, Could you possibly explain the difference between the types of porcelain veneers. There seems to be a big price difference, and I just wanted to know the reason. Would it be strength? look etc. Also would you recommend a particular type for front teeth? Many Thanks,
A. There are composite veneers – which are made out of filling material. These are always the cheapest option at around £250 – £500 per tooth. Porcelain veneers are around the £900 mark for each, of course the porcelain veneers are much stronger and better looking than the composite ones. Lumineers are another type of veneer which I do not do/believe in so I do not know about the cost of those. Hope this was helpful Justin Glaister
