Can My Partner Get His Treatment For Free?
Q.
My partner has been having many issues with his teeth and when the problem worsened recently, we decided to do something about it. So, he went to see someone. My partner has been to his dentist a few times recently as his teeth are cracking and chipping. After going to the dentist, his dentist has filled them in but now for some bizarre reason, with in a week they are chipping and cracking again. His dentist said it’s because his bite is out and suggested he could have his top 3 teeth crowned and he would have to pay £1300 for this as he said its cosmetic. Do you think its cosmetic? as its causing him discomfort and can be very sensitive we thought it could be done free of charge do you agree?

Hello, thank you very much for your question. I’d love to help fully and give you a definitive answer but I am not aware of NHS regulation. You would have to consult your dentist regarding the rules.
