Can I have temporary replacements for missing teeth?

Q.
I wanted to come to city dental for treatment as I have a phobia of dentists I haven’t been to a dentist for over 9 years and my teeth are in a very bad condition. Is there any form of treatment that I could have done the same day or something temporary to cover missing teeth till the next visit? As I don’t want to leave with missing teeth.  I am only 26 and I have 2 children and I am willing to pay the price I don’t want my partner to see me toothless or my kids. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for your question.

It is very difficult for me to answer this question without a consultation. However, depending on the type of problems you have with your teeth, would depend on whether you need or could have temporary solutions to any gaps.

It is possible that a temporary replacement tooth or bridge or denture can be made prior to the treatment, depending on the type of treatment desired and that would involve you visiting your dentist prior to the treatment appointment for impressions to make the temporary crown or bridge or denture.

I hope this answers your question.
