Can I have a temporary bridge fitted once my broken bridge is removed and what are the anaesthetic options?

Q.
Hi have been told by my dentist that me bridge needs replacing as it has broken , and I will have to have a temp denture fitted for between 6-12 months ! then a new bridge fitted I am really worried about this I am only 45 can I have a temp bridge fitted instead .
I am a nhs patient , but would pay for a temp bridge .
I am having the extraction and procedure with the magic wand as have had a allergic reaction once , can this procedure be done with the wand ? thanking you

Dear Enquirer,
You should be able to have a temporary bridge fitted at the same time you have your broken bridge removed, but I’m not aware of the whole facts of your treatment plan. Do ask your dentist to confirm that you can have a temporary bridge made as you would prefer not to wear a denture for 6 months.
Regarding the Wand….this is a computer generated delivery system of the local anaesthetic/numbing solution, so provides a painless solution to getting patients numb. If you have an allergy to the anaesthetic, the Wand or any other delivery system will not help you as it is the solution you are allergic to. In reality, very very few patients are truly allergic to local anaesthetic solution, it is very safe. Your dentist will advise the best way forward regarding this.
All the best with your treatment.

Hi.

I have to get a tooth extracted (upper second premolar) I can see this tooth when I smile. Can I get anything to replace the gap, other than a denture? I heard you have to wait three months to get a bridge, but I don’t want a denture for three months
