Can I Have A Large Gap Between My Two Front Teeth Closed Using NHS Treatments?

Q.
Hi, I have a very large gap between my 2 front teeth. In fact, it is so large that I can wobble a pound coin between them as I’ve gotten older (I’m 31 now). My teeth have moved quite a bit and my problem is that the gums between my teeth are getting damaged due to biting food and are becoming very tender so I have been looking at treatment used but it all seems very expensive. I never had braces as a child because the ones available were very large and I would have been bullied when wearing them. I don’t know what else to do and I am becoming very self-conscious about it now. What kind of treatment would you suggest and would I be able get my teeth fixed on nhs? as I currently don’t work, thank you for any help.

Hello, I’m afraid you might not get the treatment on the nhs as it is essentially cosmetic treatment. Your options are probably either veneers or braces, visit a few cosmetic dental clinics to see what they can offer you. I hope this helps.
