Can I hav just one veneer for my front tooth?

Q. Hello, i have a front tooth the goes back, the rest of my teeth are fairly straight, Could you tell me, would it be possible to just have one veneer on that tooth or would i have to have the whole lot done? best regards

A. Thanks for your question, it is possible to have a single veneer, to improve the aesthetic appearance of your smile. However, whethervthis would be successful for you would depend on hoe far back the tooth is. I would recommend that you attend your dental practice for a consultation to discuss your options.

Hi,
I am 32 and would like to have braces to straighten my front teeth. They are currently acceptable but far from perfect. I guess the braces would not have to be on very long as the change needed is marginal rather than dramatic. However, I have a porcelain veneer on a root canal treated upper front tooth (underlying tooth itself still in place though filed down to accommodate veneer) due to a childhood accident that loosened the tooth, with the nerve finally dying. Can I still have braces despite the veneer?
Many thanks
