Can I Get a Veneer Free on the NHS?
Q.
I had root canal treatment carried out by my local NHS dentist on my front top
tooth. In time, this discoloured my tooth. I am vary aware of this and it does affect me personally when I come to smile. I cannot afford veneers but was informed by someone who had a veneer done for free on one of her front teeth.
Could I myself have this done free of charge from my dentist? I have not approached my dentist regarding this because I wanted as much information as possible regarding my options before I asked, as they say knowledge is power!

Hello, thank you for contacting me with your question. Actually, he may be the best person to speak to as he will know whether you are eligible for a veneer on the NHS. This might not be the case though as it may be classed as cosmetic treatment only. Regards, Andrew.
