Can gums recede to a stage where a gum graft would not be possible?

Q. my gums are receded very far but i am not feeling any sensitivity to hot or cold liquids or anything like that but can your gums receed so far that it would be impossible to have a gum graft surgery performed successfuly,
A. Gum disease is normally painless and that’s normally the problem we have. People don’t realise that they have gum disease until it’s almost to late to do anything about it. I would advise you to go see your nearest Dentist and he would refer you to a periodontis.
