Can crowns and veneers be placed side by side

Q. Can crowns and veneers be placed side by side and look the same in the mouth? Hi Justin, About 7 years ago my dentist put white filling on my two left incisors to cover a gap as both teeth are slightly crooked. I now want to correct this as my gum is receeding above the white filling. I have been recomended crowns but for all incisors and both canine teeth, this is very invasive so I would want to have 2 crowns for the crooked teeth and then veneers on the other 4. Can these be made to look the same in all lights? Do you think my teeth would benefit from invisalign instead as my teeth are quite healthy-I have had all wisdom teeth removed. I also have little white marks on some of my teeth, would these be fixed by whitening? Thank you.

A. The least invasiv method would be to simply replace the old fillings as it would be impossible for your dentist to guarentee that the crowns and Veneers would look identical in all lights and they are different restorations. However if the ceramist is of sufficient quslity then the results can be very close.

As regards to an invisalign you would need to consult an orthodontist.
