Before I go ahead with the Maryland Bridge treatment, can I have tooth coloured wings to blend with my natural teeth?
Q.
Hi, I wondered if you could help me?
I am looking into having a Maryland bridge fitted to replace my current bridge but the only thing that is putting me off is the metal wing type things . I am aware that you cannot see them viewing it from the front however I was more concerned with them being on show once I laugh or open my mouth. Is is possible to have the metal colour made in tooth colour so that the wings blended in with my natural teeth? I would feel very self-conscious if you could see the bridge. My current bridge is towards the back of my mouth.
Thank you for your time.

Hi, thanks for your question.
Hi, thanks for your question.
In some cases you may be able to see the translucency of the metal wings , dependable on the design of the wings and density and translucency of the tooth. Each case is different and I would recommend you discuss the options available at your consultation. Good luck, take care!
