A.
Sometimes a tooth can become infected following dental treatment such as a filling. This a not uncommon complication , especially if the filling required is very large or required decay removal close to the nerve of the tooth. Antibiotics alone will not solve the problem long term, maybe only temporarily. The antibiotics may be required in conjunction with other therapy to remove the infection or abscess. It sounds like the tooth requires a root canal and I would advise you see a specialist endodontist for this treatment as soon as possible. Often the only other alternative is to have the tooth removed.

Please go back and seek treatment and advice from your dentist as soon as you can
Hope you feel better very soon
