Hello, sorry to hear about your problem
You need to get the gap assessed if the gap is small if could be closed by cosmetic bonding or you can have braces to close the gaps, you will need a retainer to stop the teeth moving again and you should also get your gums assessed to ensure they are healthy.
Hope that helps

i have a large gap in the front of my teeth which with age i am now really concious of could i have vaneers or some sort of procedure to close the gap on the nhs as i am on income support and could not afford the price ranges i have seen i dont find it fair that you have to be wealthy or rich and famous to have a confident smile i have noticed with age the gap appears to be getting larger and often people will ask me how i lost my tooth which really has lowered my self asteem when i was younger the problem didnt tend to worry me but now with everybody around me either having braces or the vaneers done this is really becoming an issue especially with my social life i would really appreciate some guidance as to which path i could take to having a better smile

Hi Unfortunately cosmetic treatment is not offereed on the NHS. The only way you would be able to get this treated would be by having a consultation with a private dentist. This would allow you to explore the options available.
