Hi! I’m 22 years old and I feel like my teeth are declining at an alarming rate. I can’t afford the dentist since I moved and I have no insurance.
They are crooked, yellow, cavities, and the most annoying of all is the gum disease. I also grind my teeth 24/7.
The left side of my mouth doesn’t seem to have gum disease, but the right side where I grind my teeth the most is red, like a red outline around each tooth. The bottom fronts are the worst. The gums are receding and 2 of them seem to be loose. Which leads to my question.
While I wait to have the chance to get this smile I have been dreaming about since I was little, what can I do to prevent these teeth from falling out? The disease isn’t SUPER severe, but will they still fall out sooner than later?
A.
The best advice I can give you is to try to find a way to seek professional help as soon as possible. In the meantime brush and floss your teeth very carefully for about 2-3 minutes at least twice or 3 times a day and cut down on your sugar consumption.
