X Factor’s Tulisa in Trouble Following Dental Plug

Sample News Big

X Factor judge and NDubz star, Tulisa, could be in trouble, after plugging her dental work on Twitter.

The groups mentor has already been accused of exploiting her role on the hit ITV show to advertise her perfume and now faces the same allegations for plugging her new veneers.

The 23 year old was given £12,000 worth of treatment for free at a dental studio in Watford, prior to the start of the live shows and has since mentioned the dentist and the practice several times on her Twitter profile.

Ofcom, the broadcasting watchdog, announced that it was undertaking an investigation to determine whether Tulisa was breaking show rules by showing her tattoo at the beginning of each show, which reads the same as the name of her perfume. Now, the star could be under Ofcom’s spotlight again after mentioning the name of her dentist several times on the popular social media site.

Tulisa has made no comment on the issue.

Don’t understand this. Surely she’s free to say whatever she likes on a micro-blogging site? Given the number of celebrities plugging services/products every day, what’s the issue here?
