A dental team from Worcester is gearing up to tackle obstacles and crawl through mud in the aid of a good cause this weekend.

Dentists, nurses and hygienists from Gentle Dental Care in Worcester are taking on the Race for Life Pretty Muddy Run this weekend to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The challenge includes a 5km obstacle course, which will see the team crawling, running and trudging through mud. The race will take place in Birmingham on Saturday 19th July.

Practice manager, Sarah Coopey, said that everyone is really excited about the challenge and the team has been looking forward to it for a while. While it will be hard work, everyone is sure that it will also be great fun and it’s a brilliant way to raise money for a really good cause.

The practice often takes part in fundraising events and Cancer Research UK is a charity, which is close to many of the members of staff’s hearts.

Sarah said that she is a little nervous, as she isn’t usually one to get muddy, but the team is determined to make it to the finish line and everyone is going to try their hardest to make it a fun and memorable experience.
