Women 'want Sienna Miller's smile'
The English starlet's natural look was favoured over the highly polished and brightened celebrity smile of reality TV favourite Jodie Marsh, with 94 per cent of women saying they would reject the Hollywood look in favour of healthy natural teeth.
The survey showed a limited utilisation of available cosmetic dentistry compared with other cosmetic treatments, with only three per cent prioritising teeth whitening procedures.
While 54 per cent of women wanted to improve their smiles if there was a risk-free and reasonably priced method, over half were put off cosmetic dentistry by safety concerns and a third by the fear of a "glow-in-the-dark" smile.
Despite this, over a quarter of the population has admitted to having cosmetic dental procedures, with teeth whitening the most popular at 31 per cent, according to the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
