Whiter teeth for Valentine’s Day

As Valentine’s Day approaches some people will be pinning their hopes on that all-important kiss, said Dr Ronald Linden.

The general dentist from US firm White Hills Family Dental claimed that although there has been no research conducted, the likelihood of a kiss occurring will probably be increased if someone takes care of their teeth.

"If you’ve got the time and motivation (it won’t happen by Valentine’s Day), straightening your teeth or covering them with caps or veneers can transform your smile and give you a whole new look," he stated.

Dr Linden explained that the attractiveness of someone’s smile greatly depends on their teeth and therefore a tooth whitening treatment to correct greying or yellowing stains could improve their appearance.

He also advised that fresh breath is also a vital part in coming across as more kissable, recommending mints, chewing gum, mouth wash and a specialist tongue scraper as ways to rectify the problem.

US dentist Dr Thomas O’Neil recently claimed that cosmetic dentists can deal with the issue of bad breath.

He stated that continuing problems can often be an indication of more serious dental issues such as tooth decay.ADNFCR-1374-ID-18460292-ADNFCR
