Veneers 'help achieve Hollywood look'

Veneers 'help achieve Hollywood look'The most popular way to achieve a Hollywood smile is to have porcelain veneers fitted, according to three US dentists.

Rocky Mountain News asked the Denver-based professionals to analyse a number of celebrities and offer opinions on how they think they achieve their red-carpet look.

Looking at The Devil Wears Prada star Anne Hathaway, it seems apparent that she has had veneers placed on her front teeth, said Dr Brett H Kessler.

"They are beautifully proportioned with great natural colour distribution," he said. "Her smile follows the shape of her lower lip, which is a very natural look."

Dr Gary Radz commented on his meeting of television host Kathie Lee Gifford, who he said is very open about her veneers and is really proud of her new smile.

Other celebrities who look like they have had some cosmetic dentistry work are Eva Longoria Parker and Kate Hudson, the dentists added.

However, David Beckham could benefit from some treatment, remarked Dr Kessler, as his teeth appear crowded.

British celebrities Anna Friel and Piers Morgan recently admitted to having had cosmetic dental treatment while working in the US.ADNFCR-1374-ID-18548845-ADNFCR
