Ultimate Smile Spa Acquired by Bupa
Bupa, the private healthcare provider, has acquired the Ultimate Smile Spa in Manchester City Centre where dentist Dr Lance Knight has been providing care to sports stars and other celebrities since it was founded in 2007.
This continues Bupa’s plans to add up to fifty sites over the next three years and becomes their twelfth dental centre.
The dental practice on St Ann’s Square will now be known as a Bupa Dental Centre, but Dr Knight will continue to provide his famed skills at the practice.
Ultimate Smile Spa is one of the first dental practices in Europe to provide a bad breath machine and employs twenty-one staff. Dr Knight said the acquisition would bring even more advanced treatments to patients.
Bupa’s director of dental services, Ruth Chesmore, said the dental practice was in a great location to provide a service that is easy to access for local workers, whether they have dental insurance or not.
