Two new NHS practices set to open in Portsmouth

Sample News Big

NHS Portsmouth has announced that two new practices will open soon in the city.

One of the surgeries will be located at the John Pounds Centre in Portsea, while the other will open in the Hilsea and Copner area; the exact site is yet to be named. Both practices are set to open in the next month.

In the past, Portsmouth residents struggled to access NHS care; however, in the last couple of years, NHS Portsmouth has invested a large amount of money in the city. Just last month another new practice opened at the Paulsgrove and Wymering Healthy Living Centre and the announcement that two new surgeries will follow suit will further boost NHS provision in the area. It is believed that the two new surgeries will create thousands more NHS places for local residents.

NHS Portsmouth is starting to take names for the registers at the new practice and details of arranging appointments with dentists at the new practice will soon be made available for new patients; if you wish to register with an NHS dentist in Portsmouth, contact NHS Portsmouth directly or visit their website.
