Trowbridge Dental Patients Urged to Switch Surgeries

Sample News Big

Dental patients in Trowbridge have been advised to switch surgeries, as an existing NHS contract is due to expire at the end of July.

Patients currently registered with Prospect Dental Practice are being advised to register with The Halve surgery in Trowbridge, as the NHS contract is being taken over by Dentalcare from the 1st August. Prospect Dental Care has had the contract for the last five years and will continue to provide private dental care.

A statement from NHS Wiltshire said that the new NHS contract has been awarded to Dentalcare Limited and NHS care will be available from The Halve surgery from 1st August. Patients are advised to telephone 01225 430545 to register with the practice. Patients are also invited to use the NHS Wiltshire Dental Helpline for more information about dental services in the area.

The change is expected to affect around 4,500 patients. NHS Wiltshire has also stressed that there are many dental practices across the county offering NHS places. The trust has invested more than £3 million in improving access to dental services in the county.
