Tricare Dental Program to be Extended Overseas
The military dental program, Tricare, will extend to their recipients who are living overseas beginning on Oct. 1, 2008. This service has been requested by the military retirees and their families for many years, and it is now going to happen. Tricare says it is very pleased to offer these dental services to retired overseas military and their families. Tricare allows worldwide military retirees the availability to buy dental coverage that was restricted to the United States, District of Columbia, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and Canada. Its website offers to list of more than 500 dental clinics and dentists from approximately 50 countries for retirees and their families to choose from.
