Tributes have poured in for a young dental trainee who was found dead on Tuesday morning.

A missing person’s plea had been launched for 24 year old dental graduate Aaron Gurmail, and his body was later found in a parked car in the centre of Dorking.

Mr Gurmail had been described as a “bright and popular” man and a statement from Abbey Road Surgery paid tribute to “a bright ray of sunshine who was considerate, loving and could make anyone smile.” Mr Gurmail had been working at the Slough surgery after graduating from Kings College London and had made a very positive impression on staff members and patients in a very short space of time.

The statement confirmed that Aaron will be greatly missed by colleagues and patients alike and praised his warmth and kindness. Members of the Abbey Road team said that he will always be remembered very fondly and extended their heartfelt sympathies to members of his family and friends.

Police became involved after Aaron was reported missing and officers from Surrey found his body in a parked car in Dorking at 2.50am on Tuesday 6th January.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police confirmed that a post-mortem will be carried out and police are working with the family. The case is not being treated as suspicious.
