Toothless thug attacks woman
A thug with a missing front tooth attacked a woman who was walking alone.
Plymouth police are appealing for information on the incident which was an unprovoked senseless attack.
The 27-year-old woman had been walking home at around 11.15pm on Saturday 17 October 2009, near to the probation office in Notte Street, when a man punched her in the ribs after approaching her from behind.
The punch knocked the victim into nearby railings and the attacker shouted abuse at the woman before making his getaway. The victim suffered bruised ribs and nausea.
The suspect is a slim white man, around 5’9" to 5’11 tall. He had cropped mousy hair and dark clothes. He also spoke with a Scottish accent and had a front tooth missing.
