The UK’s priciest bungalow goes up for sale complete with its own dental surgery
One of the most eye-catching properties in the UK has come up for sale. With a price tag of around £4.5 million, a bungalow in the much sought-after area of Canford Cliffs has become the most expensive single-storey residence in Britain.
The bungalow will turn heads due to its location a stone’s throw from prestigious Sandbanks, but the details included in the listing have also attracted attention due to the inclusion of an old dental studio. The 1.5-acre plot boasts views out to the Isle of Wight, as well as a swimming pool, a private road, and, uniquely, a dental surgery. The studio was once used as a public dental practice.
The bungalow will be auctioned in London on the 26th September, and agents are expecting the lot to attract bids of more than £4.5 million. Russel Taylor, from Savills Auctions, explained that the initial plan was to develop the site for three separate residences, but it was maintained as a single development. The proximity to Sandbanks and the quirky design make it an incredibly interesting proposition for developers and those looking to occupy a slice of one of the most desirable patches of coastline in the country. There has already been a lot of interest in the property, and auctioneers are expecting a battle between buyers later this month.
