Talent show judges ‘seek cosmetic dentistry’
Former tabloid editor Piers Morgan was so ashamed of his yellowing teeth he has had cosmetic dentistry, reports the Sunday Times.
Currently starring as a judge in NBC show America’s Got Talent, the ex-Daily Mirror editor claims he has become "a fully fledged global TV star".
However, Morgan, who is often best known for his controversial comments regarding fellow celebrities, said he became ashamed when US audiences remarked on his "crooked yellow British teeth".
He sought a £300 laser teeth-whitening treatment in Beverly Hills, to compete with friend and fellow judge on Britain’s Got Talent Simon Cowell.
Cowell has also reportedly bet £100 that Morgan will give in and have cosmetic surgery.
Well known for his love of cosmetic dentistry, Cowell has previously claimed he would pay for X-Factor colleague Louis Walsh to have his teeth capped, according to Bang Media International.
"It’s a big job," he said. "I’ll start with just one tooth this year. Then we can keep going for the next 20 years."
