Summer 2008 'prime time for a Bulgarian dental holiday'

Summer 2008 'prime time for a Bulgarian dental holiday'More Brits are looking for dental holidays in Bulgaria this summer, it has emerged. According to DentaPrime Dental Clinic, patients seeking cosmetic dental treatments can make a saving of 60 per cent by travelling to the eastern European country. Dental implants, veneers, porcelain crowns and bridges are all priced at £50 upwards, the clinic claims. Dr Regina Shindialova, member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, explained that increasing medical costs in the UK are leading more and more people to consider having treatment abroad. By opting for a clinic in Bulgaria, patients "can now enjoy a dental holiday by the breathtaking Black Sea coast, have implants, crowns or even teeth extracted and gain a smile to be proud of", she added. Flights to Bulgaria take around four hours from the UK and according to Dentaprime Dental Clinic, there has never been a better time for people to combine travel with treatment than summer 2008. Cited by treatmentabroad.com, the International Passenger Survey predicts UK residents travelling abroad for dental treatment to reach 126,000 this year, compared to 100,000 this year."ADNFCR-1374-ID-18515054-ADNFCR" More Dentistry abroad stories
