Student Numbers Treble on Dental Implant Course
Student numbers have trebled on courses run by dental implant company, Dentale.
Dentale offers a range of courses offered in clinics across the West Midlands and the South West of England, which are designed to allow dentists to hone and develop their implantology skills. According to company figures, there has been an incredible increase in the number of dentists registering for the courses. Figures are up by 257% compared to last year’s figures and the company’s turnover has increased by 115%.
The courses are hands-on, interactive programmes and the most popular courses are the 5-day Introduction to Implant Dentistry and the 10-day Advanced Practical Implantology course. In addition to implantology courses, Dentale also provides training on other procedures and techniques, including sinus lifts and soft tissue augmentation.
Dentale also offers courses for dental nurses and programmes include the Comprehensive Introduction to Dental Implants for Nurses, the National Certificate in Dental Nursing and the Advanced Implant Dental Nursing course.
Debbie Snelson, group manager, said that the courses are popular because they provide hands-on training, which is much more appealing to dental professionals. Participants work on patients throughout the programme under the supervision of highly trained professionals, which allows them to hone their skills.
