A dentist from Stourbridge is preparing to cycle from Milan to Monaco to raise money for a children’s charity.

Anthony Dash from the Lion Dental Centre will be covering more than 300 km on his bike to raise funds for Caudwell Children, a charity that provides support for disabled children and their families. Mr Dash was approached by founder John Caudwell and was keen to take part in the event. The cost of the rise is covered entirely by Mr Caudwell, which means 100 percent of the money raised by participants goes to the children.

The group will be setting off from Milan on Friday 23rd September and hopes to reach Monaco on Sunday 25th September. Mr Dash is hoping to raise £5,000 for the cause.

Anthony is looking forward to the challenge. He said that cycling for two days is a small contribution compared to the efforts of the fundraising team and volunteers, who constantly stage events and put their bodies to the test to raise valuable funds for Caudwell Children.
