Patients who are looking for a dentist in Spalding have been invited to register with a new NHS surgery, which will be based at Johnson Community Hospital.

The clinic, which is due to open on January 7th 2019, is now accepting new patients. The clinic will be staffed by dentists and nurses from Community Dental Services, and a range of general dental services will be available, in addition to emergency appointments. The practice will also offer some evening and weekend slots and bank holiday surgeries.

Helen Paisley, regional operations director at CDS, said that the new service will provide first-class dental care to local families. There has been growing demand for NHS dental care in Spalding since the closure of services in the last couple of years, and the opening of this clinic, in addition to four other practices in the county, will make a hugely positive difference to the area.

Community Dental Services is a social enterprise, which provides community-based dental services across parts of East and Central England. In the last year, the body has provided more than 65,000 appointments.

The opening hours for the new hospital-based clinic will be 8am until 8pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 8am until 6.30pm on Tuesdays. The centre, which will comprise three surgeries, will also open on Saturdays until 1.30pm and on alternate Sundays.
