South Carolina dentist becomes an Internet sensation after uploading ‘In My Feelings’ dance challenge video
A South Carolina dentist has become an overnight star after uploading a video online showcasing his dance skills.
Dr Rich Constantine, from Constantine Dental, Greenville, has become an Internet sensation after sharing a video of him dancing at work. The clip features the dentist’s attempt at the latest dance craze, the ‘In My Feelings’ challenge.
Rich said he was eager to show off his fun side to patients, and he only expected the video, which was shot at the Greenville clinic, to get a few hundred views. He had no idea that the clip would amass 50 million views in just 3 days.
Rich has shared videos before, but nothing he has uploaded has exploded in this way. In an interview with Good Morning America, he said that he had been blown away by the response.
After weeks of hounding from his colleagues to take part in the new challenge, which features the ‘Shiggy’ dance to Drake’s track, Rich filmed himself doing the dance on his phone and then shared it on Facebook. That happened on Thursday 19th July and by the following Saturday, the video had been watched almost 50 million times, and there were nearly 100,000 comments, reactions and likes.
