Employees of companies like Google and Airbnb are taking advantage of an innovative dental solution that enables them to have dental treatment at work.

Studio Dental was established in 2014 and has since built an impressive client base. Employees taking time out to go to the dentist can be a problem for corporations and employees may struggle to fit everything in when facing deadlines. Now, there’s a solution that is mutually beneficial for both employers and workers. Studio Dental provides employees with the care they need on-site.

The truck, which tows a fully-functional mobile dental unit behind, tours the businesses of Silicon Valley, offering quick and simple treatments in the parking lot. Employees can take advantage of a range of services, including cleaning treatments, routine check-ups and even wisdom tooth removal.

Dentist and co-founder Sara Creighton said that there was a clear need to “spruce” up dentistry and make it suitable for busy people on the go. Sara’s aim was to create a dental office that was attractive and appealing to patients and catered to the demands of the modern employee. She joined forces with investment banker Lowell Caulder and the duo set about designing a versatile, stylish mobile unit that featured the latest technology. Clients can watch Netflix programmes while they have dental work and relax in custom-designed chairs.

The truck is 26 feet long and it’s said that you step into a different world when you enter. From the outside, it looks like a sleek black container, but on the inside it’s an an incredibly chic, modern dental surgery.
