Police in Bath are appealing for information after a local man was attacked and left with extensive dental injuries on his way home from a night out.
The incident took place at approximately 1am on Sunday 9th December. The man, who is in his 20’s, was walking home in the early hours after leaving a nightclub in the city centre when he was assaulted in what is thought to be an unprovoked attack.
The exact location of the assault is not known, but police are asking anyone who was in the area surrounding Upper Bristol Road, Newbridge Road, Lower Bristol Road and Locksbrook Road at the time to come forward if they have any information at all that may be useful.
The man was left with severe dental injuries, and has since undergone intensive reconstructive treatment.
No further information has been released about the suspect, but Avon and Somerset police are working on the case, and they are appealing for anyone who might have seen the incident to get in touch. Even the smallest scraps of information could prove incredibly useful to the investigating team.
Anyone who might be able to help is advised to ring 101 and either use the reference number 5218273376 or ask to speak to PC 4572 Harris.
