A Plymouth dental team added Pudsey Bear ears to their usual uniforms last week to raise money for Children in Need.

Dentists, dental nurses and reception staff at Oasis Dental in Plymstock, wore Pudsey ears during the day on Friday to support Children in Need; they also brought cakes and biscuits in to sell.

Rebecca McDonell, from the practice, said that everyone had great fun fundraising for Children in Need and patients and staff really got into the spirit of the day to support a great cause. The team is not yet aware of the fundraising total but wanted to thank everyone who took part and donated towards the charity.

Children in Need took place on Friday, with schools, companies and organisations participating in an array of fundraising events to raise money for projects, hospices and charities, which provide support and help for children and their families in the UK. More than £30 million was raised on the night and donations are still flooding in.
