Plans to create new flats above Trowbridge dental practice submitted

Do you fancy having a dentist on the doorstep? If so, you may like the sound of plans to create a collection of new flats above a practice in Trowbridge.

RN Real Estates Ltd has put forward proposals to create new apartments on the site previously occupied by The Halve, a health clinic. The centre closed around ten years ago, and developers are now hoping to turn the premises into eight flats, which would have access to a communal roof terrace. The flats would be located above a private dental surgery, which opened shortly after the health clinic closed.

The new plans contain proposals to increase the size of the ground floor and add parking, and there would also be some moving around of existing units involved.

Planning officers are set to make a decision on the application in September. Similar plans have been submitted in the past, and were rejected.
