Plans to turn a vacant shop in the Cheshire town of Wilmslow into a new dental surgery have been submitted to Cheshire East Council.

The application applies to a vacant unit on Church Street in the heart of the bustling town centre. The premises, which were previously used a kitchen showroom, are currently unoccupied and a new clinic has been proposed.

If approved, the dental practice would open from 8am until 6pm during the week. It is believed that four full-time jobs would be created.

Details of the application can be found on Cheshire East Council’s website. The reference for the proposal is 17/2898M.

Residents have been invited to leave comments by the 5th July and planners are expected to make a decision by the beginning of August.
