An application to create a new dental surgery in Wilmslow has been submitted to planning officers, it has been revealed.

The plans propose to change the use of a residential ground floor property to open a brand new dental practice on Manchester Road. There are also plans to turn the first floor rooms and the loft into a three bedroom house. The number of parking spaces available on the premises would increase from four to twelve and a new entrance would be created.

If the plans are approved by officers at Cheshire East Council, the surgery will employ two full-time members of staff and one part-time employee. Opening hours would be 8am to 5pm on weekdays and 9am until midday on Saturdays.

The plans are available to view online on the Cheshire East Council website and the public is encouraged to make comments by the 19th of August. A final decision is expected before the end of September.
