Piers Morgan: I had my teeth whitened

Piers Morgan has spoken out about having cosmetic dentistry treatment in the US.

In an interview with the News of the World, the Britain's Got Talent judge explained how he achieved his new bright white smile.

"I had my teeth whitened in Beverly Hills," he said. "It's my one and only failure to resist vanity.

"I got so fed up of doing interviews in America where they were banging on about how awful my teeth were that I paid £300 to have it done."

However, Morgan added that although he was pleased with the results of the treatment, his teeth were very painful afterwards.

Morgan was famously fired as the editor of the Daily Mirror in 2004 after authorising the publication of what were allegedly faked photographs of Iraqi prisoners being abused by the British army.

He is now a judge on the ITV1 talent show alongside Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden. ADNFCR-1374-ID-18572150-ADNFCR
