A dental team from Peterborough is preparing to cycle around all of the UK’s football grounds in a bid to raise money for a local charity.

The team will be lead by Smile Boutique Dental Practice’s Dr. Phil Johns, in a challenge which covers 2,300 miles and includes 93 of the UK’s football stadia. The Route 92 Challenge will take place between the 18th April and 5th May in aid of Anna’s Hope.

Anna’s Hope is a charity based in Stamford, which provides care and support for people affected by brain injuries and brain tumours.

Dr Johns and his team are also hoping to make it to Wembley Stadium on the 17th May for the FA Cup Final and this will mark the final stage of the gruelling challenge.

Rob Hughes, founder of Anna’s Hope, said that Phil and the team are taking on an amazing challenge to support the charity and all the money that’s raised will be put towards helping young people affected by brain tumours. Rob will be joining the team on some of the legs and is looking forward to the challenge.

The team will be kicking off the ride at Peterborough’s London Road Stadium.
